The Photographers’ Gallery in London is finally opening it’s doors again this Saturday with their shiny new and expanded building on Ramillies Street. On Sunday however the gallery is holding the book release for Anders Petersen’s SOHO book (co-published by MACK and designed by Greger Ulf Nilson). The project came from a commission, with the help of Bloomberg, to photograph the Soho area whilst the gallery was shut for refurbishment last year. It was great fun last year to wander the streets with Anders and Nick Kaplony (the other assistant) we certainly had plenty of adventures! Anders will be at the gallery on Sunday and signing books between 15:30 and 18:00. There are full details of the day and more information about the opening weekend over at the Photographers’ Gallery’s website. Additionally The Guardian recently published some images from the book which you can have a look at HERE

I hope to see you there!
