Busy busy busy!
Tomorrow I fly to Sweden to see Kirsti Taylor Bye’s solo graduation exhibition from the MA in photography at Högskolan för fotografi. The show is called ‘An inventory of something that has never happened’ and the vernissage/private view is at Lalaland, Andra långgatan 22, tomorrow between 1 and 5pm. I’m also in Göteborg to take an exam on Monday for a full time course in Swedish that would start in September.
Changes are afoot.
It’s also Valborgsmässoafton and Cortègen tomorrow - so Göteborg is going to be fun!
When I get back on Wednesday, I then have two more (different) Swedish exams on Thursday and Friday in London and then the opening of Travelling Light (I still need to print my work for the show…but the catalogue is very very nearly ready) the Tuesday after! When that’s all over I’ll write a bit about my thoughts on some shows and work I’ve seen recently and generally have a catch up on here! For now, the top photograph is of some notes I made during the fantastic Paul Graham talk at the Whitechapel Gallery the other day.
