Tomorrow I’m moving to Gothenburg for the foreseeable future.

New Nordic is starting to rush at me with a big whooshing noise, I can’t believe I’m flying out next Sunday to mount and frame. I’m very excited! Above are the e-invites for the private view and if you are in Göteborg please come, it would be lovely to see you! The photograph is by the super talented Neilli Palomäki.

So, I got home from Argentina last week and have been furiously busy since - running around the south east of England to vote and get my scans ready for the British Council. Now that’s all done I only have two weeks until I’ll be back in Göteborg and this time mounting/framing/hanging my work for New Nordic Photography: On Display. I’m also interning this week and there is a private view at HotShoe Gallery on Friday night, the show is the Romanian Pavillian and is the galleries first all video show. It’s curated by Marcin Dudek and Simona Nastac with exhibition design by Ioana Iliesiu.
Hopefully I’ll find some time now that Argentina isn’t keeping me so busy to share some things on here. I’ve just started reading Jack Kerouac’s Big Sur, the new Portfolio magazine has arrived and the new issue of Photoworks is due in the post any day now, so look out for my thought on those too.
For the time being, if you have time to watch a film, head HERE to go to 4OD and watch the film adaption of one of my favourite novels - Johnathan Trigell’s utterly brilliant Boy A. It’s fantastic.
